Anyone travel on the QE2 to London in June 2019?

Hi baw.withers011718, on the whole, dress casually; however, on board the Queen Mary 2 there will be three "formal nights" in the Britannia dining room, where the group will eat dinner. On formal nights, men are expected to dress in black tie (or alternately a dark suit) and women are expected to wear a cocktail dress or something similarly formal. We will send you a detailed Information Packet with a packing list approximately 2-3 months before your program begins. We hope you have a wonderful time on your Road Scholar adventure!

I now i am a bit late to the dance for this question. I traveled on this ship to London 9/19. The accepted dress was no where as formal as this states, even on "formal" nights. men could wear pants and a jacket, women slacks and blouse. This cruise line caters to the older crowd. It is a beautiful ship and service was great. I would do it again if RS offered something i was interested. I was with the London Theater group. We saw 4 plays in London. they were all fantastic. I recommend this trip to everyone.
