Love biking, but not the hills

What bike routes do you recommend that are not too hilly?

  • Any of the Rails-to-Trails in the US are great for those who like like relatively flat biking routes. I have been on RS programs that bicycle on the Katy Trail in Missouri, the Great Allegheny Passage in Pennsylvania, and the C & O in Maryland. All are excellent programs. RS also offers a program in the Amish country of northern Indiana. The roads are smooth, lightly traveled, and pretty flat. Happy biking!
  • Ellie, Ohio has amazing trails, particularly SW Ohio around Xenia. The Little Miami River Trail is a joy to cycle. In NE Ohio, The Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail is another treat. You can cycle through the Cuyahoga National Park and ride the scenic train back for only $3 as a cyclist. Come and visit us buckeyes.
