There are so many Road Scholar birding trips to choose from. Which is your favorite?

We went to Cuba on birding trip in December. It was absolutely the best birding trip we have taken. We had wonderful guides and saw 23 indemic species. Would recommend.

Did the RS Costa Rica photo trip. Focus is on birds....GREAT TRIP! Lots and lots of beautiful birds and loved the howler monkeys. If I can answer specifics, please let me know!

I've never been on a photo trip. Do most people have really high-power equipment? Is there one bird guide and one photo guru? How many people on the trip?

I am wondering the exact same thing for my Nov. 2 northern Costa Rican birding trip. I also have a Canon Powershot, but I also have Nikon with a micro lens and a 150-600 zoom …. heavy and expensive. I am wondering how fancy the photography gear is which people bring on these birding trips.
