  • I've taken 3 road trips and they were fantastic. Missouri Reflections, Seattle, Victoria and San Juan Islands, and the latest Portland to Bar Harbor. They stop at interesting places, some good food, paced right. Each terrific.
  • My best road trip so far would be "San Antonio to Big Bend National Park."  Views during the bus trip through the Chihuahuan Desert and the Chisos Mountain and basin area are outstanding. It is a long trip to the Big Bend from San Antonio but the reward is great.  I have done over 40 trips and this rates in the top 5. Lodging runs from Resort type to Old Fashioned Inns. Stopping at the ghost town of Terlingua was an added bonus. Leaders, speakers and food perfect.

If you enjoy reading about the old west, this gives you a knowledge of how it looked. You even get to stand in the Rio Grande between Texas and Mexico.
