Immunizations

I just read an exhaustive immunization list for China recommended by the CDC. Do you know if RS recommends all of these?

hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia and influenza.

I think you should discuss with your health care provider who knows your particular medical history. If you live in an area that might have a Travel Clinic, then I'd go there.

Hello rmgriggs, thank you for reaching out about suggested immunizations. Road Scholar recommends Hepatitis A & B; updated tetanus; polio booster, typhoid vaccination. Also we do advise that you reach out to your primary care physician to see which immunizations in addition to this list you might need and make sure your regular vaccines are up to date. We went to a travel clinic. This is what was recommended also.
