As of Jan. 10, 2021 Cuba will require ALL international visitors to show proof of a negative Covid test done within 72 hours prior to arrival. In addition to this, Cuba will administer Covid
tests at the airport and track down each visitor with the results within a day or two. If that test is positive, the visitor will have to quarantine for 14 days at a facility for foreign visitors.
I've been to Cuba and love the people, music and culture. However,, in the case of a positive (or FALSE positive) test result, the prospect of staying in such a facility is off-putting, given
the accounts of them posted by foreign visitors obliged to quarantine there. Just a thought! Cuba's policy may change over the coming months, but I wanted to share this information.
