Hi Judy ~ my apologies for posting in the wrong forum and not knowing how to delete it! I'm actually going on the Walking England's Ancient Footpaths trip, and will be leaving September 5th - if they get enough people signed up for it!
Have you traveled solo with RS before? Jeanne

Hi, I'm doing the July 2 trip. Looking forward to meeting everyone, and can't wait to get back to the UK. I'm in the San Francisco bay area, traveling alone. Anyone else?

    Hi there,
I just got back from the June trip!!!!! I've traveled a lot and this was the BEST TRIP EVER!!!! It was gorgeous, rigorous, relaxing, fun, good people including the guides. Went solo and enjoyed the group time as well as my own time. The couples wen't "jointed at the hip" so I got to know everyone equally. The accommodations and food were top notch. We hiked a lot and I did NOT lose weight!!! I'm going on another RS trip to Peru in October and going solo then too and really looking forward to that. Hope you love your trip as much as I did!!!!
    Nancie

A friend and I have recently finished confirming plans to do a self-guided tour booked through Cotswold Walks. So excited! Going the first week of September!

I am also signed up for the Sept. 19th trip and have a single room. I have done many walking tours with Road Scholar and they have all been so much fun. Going as a solo is not problem because everyone gets along in the group and I have been on some where there are more solos than couples.

Hi Jeanne, I am also going on the Sept 17 trip as a solo traveler. This is my first RS trip and my first trip to England. I am so excited and good to know there are others on this trip traveling solo. I hope all the walking also leaves plenty of time to explore the area. I'm traveling from Indianapolis. See you soon....Donna
