Mexico Christmas and New Year

We have signed up for this trip to Oaxaca and Mexico City.

Living in Seattle we have decided to go a day early to ensure we are well rested for the start of the trip, and then we are planning to spend an extra three days in Mexico city at the end of the trip.

Anyone have any thoughts on things to see after the trip end.  Or if you are arriving in Oaxaca early, maybe we could meet up.

Regards and happy travels

Bill and Marilyn

Well if you've been to Mexico City before, you've probably already seen the Anthropology Museum, but if not,
it's a DO NOT MISS! Plan to spend most of the day. Would probably take a week to see everything there.

I plan on staying in Mexico City on night of 12/19, visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe before late afternoon flight to Oxaca on the 20th. Any suggestions/recommendations about hotel (s) in Mexico City. Would love to have company to visit shrine, too as I am traveling single. Thanks, Teddy McLean 541 226-1961 (southern Oregon) or tedescobear@live.com.

We are staying extra days in Mexico City at the end of the tour, and just extended our stay at the same hotel, you may want to check with them, as it seems like a nice hotel in a convenient place for visiting sites in the city. Look forward to seeing you on the tour
