I'm glad to hear from someone traveling at the same time I am! I am coming from Rochester, NY. I am flying out of LAX. How about you?

We're also flying out of LAX, but a day earlier, 1/29, on Qantas flight 12. That worked best to schedule all our flights since we are following up the NZ trip with the similar Australia trip.

We've done one other RS trip two years ago around South America. I'd be glad to compare notes or answer any questions you might have (if I have an answer :-)

This will be my 7th international trip with RS: Africa (twice), Israel, Jordan, Egypt, China and England. All were wonderfully educational and well appointed. I've done three within the US.

Correction .. this will be my 8th trip...inaccurate counting on my part!

I don't see any events listed for this trip that require any dressy clothes - in trying to pack, light jeans and sneakers seem sufficient all around. As the voice of experience, do you agree?

I agree with you. I have never been on a trip with RS that required more. My dressy outfits consist of a clean face and a fresh top and bottom...maybe clean socks which I will wear the next day!
