Is anyone traveling to St Petersburg on May 3, 2018?

Thank you for your response. I am uncertain as to whether you will receive this message. RS is attempting to fix the problem. Have you travelled to Russia in the past? Do you have any thoughts about the airport transfer experience, especially regarding the long layover on the return trip? Also, I have tried to follow the Russian weather, but really don't know what clothes to bring. Today it's 89 in Florida.

So glad you mentioned the problem with this RS format. I'm pretty good on computers, but just can't figure this website out. No, I haven't traveled to Russia before, so I'm excited about the experience. Getting a taxi from airport to the hotel is my only concern. My son has looked at the airport website and found that there is a taxi help area at the arrival area so I'm hoping they can help if I have concerns then. I keep checking weather and it seems 40's and 50's with some rain is pretty consistent. I find layering, water resistant outer wear with hoods, is the best way to go. It is similar to the Oregon weather now. I might bring a very compact umbrella on this trip.

Thanks so much. I recall reading that MIR Corporation is able to arrange a private transfer from the airport to the hotel. Just found it! The final detail booklet sent to us by RS, page 4, has information about airport transfers for those not arriving with the group. Apparently you can contact MIR stateside at (844) 243-4720 for details. Also, page 1 of the booklet has an email address for alexander@mircorp.com. Hope this helps. See you soon. Jamie

If you're planning a trip to Russia, it's better late than never to check the reasons for the ban on entry to Russia. You know, stuff happens basically because of bureaucracy, and to get sure you'll pass, please, read this list.
