The Best of Scotland June 14- June 28, 2017 ending in Edinburgh and two days later joining In The Heart of the Scottish
Highlands June 29-July 11,2017 leaving from Edinburgh.

We're also doing the Scottish Highland tour, but in August. We're doing a home exchange in Dublin before it, then two weeks in Edinburgh (also a Home Exchange) after. We really enjoy the RS tours and the quality of people they attract, but want to explore on our own as well. We are traveling with another couple.

I am arriving a week early, renting a car, and exploring the southern and eastern parts of Scotland where I have not been before and will not see on my trip to Aigas. I prefer rural areas and small towns to big cities (where a rental car would not be convenient.)
