In the Heart of the Scottish Highlands

Hello, I'm Krista, traveling from Milwaukee Wisconsin. I'd like to know a bit about my fellow classmates on the May 3-15, 2018 trip. I'll be arriving a couple of days early to spend a day in Glasgow, since the program does not include it. I look forward to meeting everyone.

I went last year and spent an extra day in Glasgow on my own too. It was super easy to get around. I got the two day hop on hop off bus that was right outside the hotel. It was great. I recommend walking up the necropolis which is near the cathedral. It has great views of the city. I also recommend the Tentament house if you like history. It’s a bit of a walk from the bus, but I loved it. Also there are great restaurants and many have good deals if you go befor 6:00. Two fat Ladies was great. Also the city hall is amazing and has twice daily free tours.
