I just heard about this shuttle https://flathead.mt.gov/eagle/documents/GlacierCommuterScheduleNonMilitary4.pdf. I was told about it by a taxi service that said there are cheaper ways to get to the park. $5 round trip or $3 one way. It takes you to the visitor center and then you can use the park shuttle to get to your hotel.
Have not tried it yet as planning trip for next fall and will be in Kalispell going to Glacier National Park; combining two trips. Called the shuttle company and you can take on luggage as long as you are the one getting it on/off the bus and can fit next to you on bus.
A bit of a journey, involving transfers. But taxi was approximately $100 one way.
