Thanks for reaching out! Since your bike is narrow-wheeled we would recommend that you choose the option of getting a rental bike when you enroll whether you do so online or via phone.

The rental bikes are Fuji Cross Town bicycles available in sizes 15, 17, 19, 21, and 23. That should accommodate people from 4ft 10in in height to 6ft 6in. Step overs and step throughs are available, and all bicycles have a full suspension set (to include gel seat). These hybrids have aluminum frames, shock systems in the front fork and seatpost. They have narrow jell saddles and flat pedals. We have a limited supply of larger saddles that can be substituted if requested ahead. They are all late models, with low miles, and in good working order. Each bike is equipped with water bottle cage and rear rack. If you would prefer for your own comfort to bring your own seat or pedals (most standard pedals and clips can be substituted before we start riding on Monday morning) please feel free to do so.

I would like to reserve a rental bike. How do I do that, please? I am 5' 3". What is the cost. I will plan to bring my own pedals. Can someone put them on my bike when I get there? Many thanks.

Thank you for reaching out. There is a bicycle sizing form that you are required to fill out at least 2 weeks before your program begins and mail or email back to the program provider St. Charles Community College. The form is in your packet or is available online under the section "Other Forms".
