Anyone participating the Nashville-Memphis trip starting May 20, 2018?

Hi Lisa and Ben....We are Judy and Bill from California and will be flying into the Nashville Airport arriving at 2:10 p.m. We are looking forward to this trip very much and meeting fellow Road Scholars such as yourselves. Where are you traveling from?

Hi Judy and Bill. We are flying to Nashville from New York City, arriving at 1:21 pm Central Time. We look forward to meeting you and all our fellow scholars. The two of us are huge music fans, and we can't wait to enjoy the offerings of Memphis and Nashville. Have you participated in any other Road Scholar trips?

Hi Lisa....Great to hear from you. WOW! New York City....that is one busy place for sure. This is our 10th Road Scholar Tour and we have scheduled two more scheduled this year....one in July along the Oregon Coast and the other to San Diego,California. I love music too....I come from the 50's - 60's era of music. However, Bill loves jazz. I'm looking forward to seeing the Grand Ole Opry from the backstage area and seeing a performance....of course, Graceland has always been on my "bucket list" of places to go. Boy, are we going to have a good time.

Hi Judy and Bill. This is our first Road Scholar trip. I retired last June from teaching, my husband two years before that. We would love to discuss the previous trips you took. Ben's sister and Lisa will be participating in the Bryce, Zion, and Canyonlands trip in July. Have you traveled to this area?

Ben loves country music. He probably has every album by George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Emmy Lou Harris, and Dolly Parton! Elvis and Johnny Cash are among our favorites. We also enjoy jazz and contemporary singer-songwriters. We're looking forward to the Opry and B.B. King's. NYC has many music venues, but not for country music. It will be great to see these performances in the location where this music was written.

Where in California do you live? We have relatives in Irvine, and my brother's family lived in LA for several years. We've visited them for various family occasions, and loved the weather in Southern California.
