For anyone going on this trip next August., you might like to be aware that the World (Bag) Pipe Band Championships take place in Glasgow on August 13-14. There are qualifying events during the day on Friday, the 13th, with the championship competition on the 14th. The championships were cancelled this year. Let's hope they're on for 2021--and that Road Scholar trips also run next year.
Just an update. The Championships for 2021 have been cancelled. They will (hopefully) take place in 2022.
