Are there alternative activities planned for rainy days?

They have a pool! Meant as a joke - think it is an outdoor pool. Looking at the weather forecast may have to bring warmer clothing.

My question was more general. Are there things to do in the area if it rains.

Had a rainy day. Unfortunately too many stores, bakeries, wineries were closed. Those were the alternatives. A lot of driving around a rain drenched countryside.

Thank you for letting me know. What month did you take the trip? I was thinking of going in August.

We had good weather on 3 days and light rain on the 4th in late June (the week after we left, there was a heat wave!). On the rainy day, we visited an abbey in the morning (singing and chanting in French/Latin sounded good), then went to an ice wine/cider winery and chocolate store in the afternoon. Several in the group opted to ride in the afternoon (looked promising to them, still threatening to me) and they made out fine. Let Stephen know what you would like to do, because he will try to accommodate! I highly recommend this trip--do it if you can.
