This is an excellent program for those interested and seeing and learning about the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Seattle is a wonderful dynamic growing city with the nearby to the hotel corporate headquarters of Amazon. I hadn't been there in 10 years and much of downtown had changed for the better. Victoria is a place to return to again and again as is Butchart Gardens which changes by the season. Friday Harbor has an interesting history and is worth a visit. It also has a different vibe in the fall vs the summer peak tourist season. Water, water everywhere with beautiful ferry boat rides among green islands boat. The occasional light rain adds to the beauty as does the sun which changes the perspective. The presenters are very good with many personal stories. Not to diminish the others, I especially enjoyed artist Nancy Spaulding and bib-overall wearing historian/ecologist/anthropologist/ecologist Russell Barsh. Tour Director Linda Wanless was among the best of the many Road Scholar tour leaders I have enjoyed my travels with. I also give this Road Schola Program an A+ score.
