I am going in December and it looks like most afternoons and evenings are free, also most dinners are excluded and that adds to the free time. I just wonder with Notre Dame being damaged if there will be an alternative or just additional free time.

Hello, due to the devastating fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral in April 2019, the Cathedral is closed to visitors until further notice. The restoration of the Cathedral is anticipated to take up to six years. As planned, Road Scholar programs that visit île de la Cité will be able to see the outside of the Notre Dame Cathedral and learn about its construction and historical significance. While there is no change in programming provided by Road Scholar, participants will not be able to go inside the Cathedral during Free Time. Your Group Leader will discuss the latest developments in the reconstruction of this Gothic Icon upon your arrival to the program.
